What a wonderful opportunity it was to join with missionaries and members in Kampong Thom for the open house and dedication of the beautiful new chapel there. A great blessing for the work in this area.

A smaller sized but beautiful building
The members and missionaries had prepared displays and materials in the various rooms to explain about the Restoration, the Book of Mormon, baptism, and the auxiliaries of the church, as well as the importance of family.
A rented tent provided shade for the afternoon meal on Saturday.
Elder Pom watches the ribbon cutting.
The deputy minister for Christian Religions gave a wonderful talk and listened attentively to the various displays and programs.
The Primary children helped sing and share with the visitors also.
The Kampong Thom youth choir and sister missionaries above on Saturday... a future sister missionary below!
On Sunday for the dedication the youth choir sang beautiful numbers and provided a wonderful spirit to the meeting. Pres. Moon had been asked to write and deliver the dedicatory prayer in Khmer.
This is not in KT-- this was a meal together with sisters-- I think in Kampong Cham, in their home. They were very kind to feed us. From left Sister Peterson, Sister Earl, Pres. Moon, Sister Khut, and Sister Fields.
