December 2014 Christmas Program with Missionaries

Above a Christmas gathering with CJF staff, and below at CIFCO orphanage enjoying a show plus food

We had a wonderful Christmas service project with all the missionaries on December 24th, and a conference with training on Christmas Day.  Below pictures from the lunch after the service project-- somewhere we have pictures of the service project-- putting together bags for all the youth in the church in Cambodia, complete with a year subscription to the Liahona.

Following lunch we reset the chairs and had a very fun talent show, with many missionaries singing and participating in sharing various talents-- really a highlight of Christmas for us.  Below Sister Litchfield and Sister Jepson.

Below Elder Monson and Elder Eppley share a poem/song with us...

Battambang singers below...

Below Elder Duffy and Elder Paramore

Elder Brittain shared a wonderful piano solo

Wow Elder Pom was good-- we didn't even know he could sing!

Below Elder Brittain, Duffy, Vore, and Child

A group of sisters with a very funny Christmas song -- Cambodian missionary version.  And Elder McGavin below.

Above a funny version of 12 days of Christmas -- Steung Mean Chey style, and below Elder Buo, who is very talented.

Elder Harris playing a solo above, and "Don't eat Santa" below

The whole group-- Cambodia Phnom Penh missionaries

Central District's late night Christmas caroling is a wonderful tradition that we have loved so much...  I think actually maybe it is just an excuse for them to see and talk to all their missionary sister friends who are staying at the mission home with us!

Below, lunch courtesy of KFC on Christmas Day, after a morning of training and sharing testimonies

Mackenzie and Sister Harris-- they roomed next to each other at BYU

The stay late clean up crew-- we mopped the whole gym between us-- hard work but nice to have it cleaned after all the mess we made!  A big thank you to Elder Harris and Elder Olson who stayed with us to work on it.
