Some more random photos from Christmas time period...
this is tree in lobby of a hotel here... took when there to pick up the Wilsons for North District Conference...
One Saturday we noticed the christmas tree (not the one pictured here) in Steung Mean Chey building was woefully in need of help-- someone had leaned it up, but it was bent all out of shape, covered with dust, broken, really sad looking. It had been there for several days. So we decided to our own little "Festival of Tree" and make help out SMC have a proper Christmas tree, so we bought a new smaller tree, and made some homemade decorations using pictures of the nativity and the Savior on construction paper, and rode in a tuk-tuk to SMC (when car was being fixed) through all the dust, and put up the new tree. There were some members there that pitched in.
Sister Moon had a nice "making sugar cookies" activity with Amy and her son from 13th branch...
This beautiful tree was in lobby of our hotel in HCMC Vietnam when we went to do training and celebrated Christmas with the Vietnamese elders and sisters. Very pretty.

These are photos from Christmas day evening-- some of the Vietnamese district members came caroling to us at the mission home-- it was so sweet of them. They looked so cute and did a great job singing. It was really fun.
Sister Kohler and Sister Tieng 2 were here from Siem Reap and got to enjoy the carolers too. Sister Tieng 2 had a wonderful .Christmas present-- she passed her passport interview-- yea! That opens the way for her to go to the temple-- something she wasn't able to do before starting her mission.
